Mayor Malik Evans Endorsed by Monroe County Democratic Committee Ahead of Re-election

Mayor Malik Evans has earned the endorsement of the Monroe County Democratic Committee, which announced the designation on Saturday.

The committee highlighted Evans as the “top vote-getter” among Democrats in Rochester.

While expressing gratitude for the endorsement, Evans emphasized his continued focus on addressing key issues like violence, youth outreach, housing, and economics.

He is currently running for re-election against two Democratic opponents: Rochester City Councilmember Mary Lupien and businessman Shashi Sinha.
