Mariah Carey Confirms Release Date for Upcoming Album

Mariah Carey has announced her sixteenth studio album will be released on September 26, 2025. Teasing fans with an Instagram video and snippets of new music, the singer previewed a song possibly titled “Here For It All.” The album’s first single, “Type Dangerous,” co-produced by Anderson .Paak, dropped in June and samples Eric B. & Rakim’s “Eric B. Is President.” The album is rumored to include more collaborations with .Paak, who may also serve as executive producer. Carey, known for her vocal prowess and timeless hits, is building excitement for what’s expected to be a standout return to the charts.
