Born Malcolm James McCormick, aka Mac Miller, was found unresponsive in his Los Angeles home on September 7, 2018. Miller was only 26 years old when he passed. Now, just 3 years later, the man who supplied the rapper with fentanyl-laced pills has pleaded guilty. Stephen Walter, who was 46 at the time of Miller’s death, entered a guilty plea on one count of distribution of fentanyl and will be facing up to 20 years in prison.

U.S. Attorney Nick Hanna stated back in a 2019 press release when address Mac Miller’s death: “Fentanyl disguised as a genuine pharmaceutical is a killer.
