Man In North Carolina Wins Lottery Twice By Accident

Imagine you win the lottery twice because you bought a lottery ticket but forgot so you bought a second one. That actually happened to a man in North Carolina talk about doubling your luck.
Scotty Thomas from Fayetteville was laying in bed watching a basketball game when he couldn’t remember if he played or not. So he went online and filled out another ticket for the lottery.
The lottery game was Lucky For Life and that’s just what Thomas is set for life after winning twice. Because he played two tickets with the same number combination he won two separate prizes. The first prize he won was $25,000 a year for life the second prize is $1,000 a week for life.
Thomas took the lump sum for $780,000 and after taxes, he will receive $551,851.
