Malik Evans Wins Democratic Party Primary Election For Rochester Mayor

City Councilman Malik Evans won the Democratic Party primary election for Rochester mayor. Evans won by approximately 6,000 votes over Mayor Lovely Warren. He addressed supporters declaring his plan to put Rochester into the top echelon of American cities where it belongs. And, right out of the gate, he talked about the urgent need to address violence on Rochester’s streets to make our communities safe.

Other winners from the 2021 primary election include  Willie Lightfoot, Mitch Gruber, Stanley Martin, Miguel Melendez Jr, Kim Smith for Rochester City Council at Large.
