Made In America Festival Pushed Back To 2021

Written by on July 5, 2020

Jay Z’s Made In America festival has been postponed until Labor Day 2021.

The festival’s website says the reason for cancelling this year’s event is because of parallel pandemics: COVID-19, systemic racism and police brutality.

Festival officials are stressing the health and wellbeing of the artists and attendees be considered and will be working with the Mayor of Philadelphia’s office to organize next years show.

In regards to ticket refunds and purchases, a statement on the website reads:

“Please hold on to your tickets, as they will be valid for next year, and we will be sharing additional information as it becomes available, via our website and social media,” the statement continued. “If anyone would prefer a refund, an email will be sent to request one. For any further ticket inquiries, please reach out to the point of purchase.”
