Local Colleges Announce Re Opening Plans For Fall Semester
Written by Site Hub on July 5, 2020
More colleges in the Rochester area are announcing that they will be re opening for the 2020 fall semester. Each school has its own set of plans for the safety of their students, but most of them contain precautions like: decreased class sizes, online learning, strict sanitation guidelines, restrictions on gatherings and visitors and a different break schedule.
The education facilities have task forces in place and extra guidelines from SUNY that were released earlier in mid June.
Although this seems like a return to normalcy, all re opening plans are reliant on the COVID-19 infection rates. There is still no word on whether or not sports will happen or not.
These schools have announced their return: SUNY Brockport, Nazareth College, SUNY Geneseo, RIT, MCC and St. John Fisher College.
