Local Church Worker Accused Of Embezzling Six Figure Sum

Katherine Catalano, 61, has been placed under arrest for embezzling over $200,000 from a church.
She is being charged with grand larceny for taking small amounts of money over 7 years from the Living Word Assembly of God. Catalano worked a position where she handled some of the finances and she had total access to all the church funds.
She is currently released, pending a preliminary appearance in Ontario Town Court on November 10.
