LeVar Burton In The Running For New Jeopardy TV Host Job

Did you know that you can bet on the next Jeopardy Host? Neither did I. But according to Bet Online, LeVar Burton is now the third most likely person to become the next host of Jeopardy, after the loss Alex Trebek. The star Reading Rainbow, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Roots. That puts only two men ahead of him with better odds of getting the job, Jeopardy! Jeopardy Champion Ken Jennings, and ABC news anchor George Stephanopoulos.
This update comes following a viral petition circulating to give LeVar Burton the gig, which as of writing has over 83,000 signatures. Burton took notice of the petition and shared it with fans while expressing his gratitude for the consideration.
