Lavender Ray’s Review of “& JULIET” at RBTL

If you thought that Romeo & Juliet was a masterpiece back in the day, well, get ready for a side of the story that asks: “What if Juliet didn’t die?”

From the moment I walked into the theater, everything—the lighting choices, the music, and the setup of the stage itself—hinted at the amazing show that was to come. The dedication, heart, and life of this show make it something unforgettable. The way that all of the actors and actresses gave so much energy and spark to their characters was incredible.

The way this show made me laugh and have fun with the characters is what makes the audience believe that they’re not just people sitting around watching other people, but instead allows them to have enjoyment and feel like they are in the story and are on the adventures with Juliet and the other characters. The unforgettable vocals, acting choices, and choreography is what makes the show special and allows it to make its mark.

If you want to go see a show that will have you leaving with your jaw dropped and want to have the time of your life, well then & Juliet is just for you.
