LA’s Staples Center To Be Renamed Crypto.com Arena

The home for the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings, and the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks is getting a new name. The landmark Staples Center to be renamed the Crypto.com Arena, sources told Front Office Sports. The Singapore-based cryptocurrency investment platform will pay more than $700 million to the venue’s owner, Anschutz Entertainment Group, over 20 years, Axios’ Dan Primack reports.
