L3Harris Secures Another Huge Contract for $300 Million with the U.S. Army

L3Harris Technologies in Rochester has been awarded a $300-million contract by the U.S. Army to produce thousands of Handhelds, Manpack, and Small Form Fit radios.

This contract is part of a multi-vendor Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity agreement announced by Senator Chuck Schumer in 2016.

L3Harris has a history of collaboration with the U.S. Army, including a 2023 contract to manufacture over 4,000 units of similar equipment, and has received multiple selections for projects dating back to 2020 for both the Army and NASA.
