Some KeyBank customers reported being double-charged for debit card transactions made on November 3, 2025, causing some accounts to go negative.

The issue has persisted for more than two days.

KeyBank confirmed a technical error is responsible and said it is working to fix the problem.

The bank apologized for the inconvenience and advised affected customers to contact KeyBank directly for assistance.
