The man responsible for shooting a 16 year old black boy in Kansas City named Ralph Yarl that went to the wrong address has been charged with the assault.
The man identified as 85-year-old Andrew Lester who is white was charged with first degree assault and armed criminal action.
City officials also said there had been a racial component to the shooting.
