Juneteenth Celebrations in Rochester

Today marks Juneteenth and to celebrate the Save Rochester organization hosted a Juneteenth poetry slam at the Highland Bowl yesterday. Save Rochester strives to make connections to bridge the gap between disconnected communities in Rochester. In addition to this event, Mayor Malik Evans is hosting a Juneteenth block party at the city hall, featuring local food trucks and live music, which will be free to the public.
