A judge will unseal a grand jury indictment on Thursday concerning the death of Robert Brooks, a Greece man who was beaten by corrections officers at Marcy Correctional Facility.
The unsealing is scheduled for 2 p.m. in Oneida County Court. So far, no criminal charges have been announced related to Brooks’ death, which followed an assault in a medical exam room on December 9.
The Onondaga County Medical Examiner determined he died from neck compression and multiple blunt impact injuries.
