Judge Orders Transcripts From Grand Jury Proceedings To Be Publically Released
Written by Andre on September 30, 2020
A record of the grand jury proceedings in the Breonna Taylor case will be released on Wednesday to the public. Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron said he does not object to jurors speaking publically about the case. He also said he did not recommend homicide charges against the three officers indicted.
During the arraignment of Brett Hankison the judge ordered the public release of the records of the grand jury case. Hankison was charged with three felony counts of “wanton endangerment” for firing shots into the neighbors apartment. No one was charged with the murder of Breonna Taylor.
The Attorney for Breonna Taylor’s family has demanded the transcripts of the proceedings to be released. Because they do not feel Daniel Cameron presented the case on Breonna Taylor’s half. Cameron is a Republican and was one of the speakers at the 2020 Republican National Convention.
What will the transcripts reveal and what will happen if the case was NOT present on Breonna’s half?
We will find out in the next few days. Until then stay strong, justice for Breonna Taylor, and remember Black Lives Matter.
