Jazzma Kendrick Thanks Supporters & Clarifies When Alleged Assault By Rick Ross Occurred In New Statement (UPDATE)

Rick Ross still hasn’t said a word regarding the assault allegations from his ex-girlfriend, Jazzma Kendrick. In a series of social media posts, she accused him of busting her lip and using her as a “punching bag,” causing her to walk away from the relationship. Tia Kemp, Rick’s ex and coparent, weighed in with strong takes on whether the rapper would hit anyone. Now, Jazzma is speaking out again, thanking her supporters for reaching out.

Jazzma Kendrick Thanks Supporters After Assault Allegations

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday (Sept. 28), Jazzma shared that she’s seen the messages from supporters. Additionally, she clarified when the alleged assault by Rick Ross happened and how she’s feeling now. Speaking out, she said, was the “right choice.”

“To everyone who reached out, sent love or just held space for me, thank you. I felt every message, even the ones I haven’t answered yet. I want you to know I’m okay. This happened about a month ago, so I’ve had time to sit with it, process it, and start healing. Speaking up wasn’t easy, but your support reminded me I made the right choice. If you’re going through something similar, you’re not alone, and you deserve to be safe,” Jazzma Kendrick’s statement said.

Jazzma Kendrick Previously Accused Rick Ross Of Busting Her Lip

As said, Kendrick shared her assault allegations in several Instagram Stories’ posts on Saturday (Sept. 26). In response to a fan’s compliment mentioning Rick Ross, Jazzma wrote, “He saw a punching bag.” Another post, a photo of her lip and cheek, said, “The day Rick busted my lip and the day I left.” A third post revealed a deep purple bruise on the inside of her upper lip, while the text said: “I don’t know a lot of things, but I do know that a man put his hands on me, is a man that never loved me and never will.” Meanwhile, Jazzma Kendrick’s fourth post read:

“It’s always good until it isn’t. If a man hits you one time, he will do it again. Don’t give him the opportunity. Value your life and leave.”

Tia Kemp Appears To Defend & Insult Her Ex-Boyfriend Following Allegations Against Him

The mother of Rick Ross’ eldest child, Tia Kemp, slid into The Shade Room’s comment section following a repost of Jazzma Kendrick’s allegations. She advised women to “go home” when “that man” tells them to and to “keep a job.” In a subsequent livestream video, Kemp appeared to warn Jazzma that she’s not getting a penny from Rozay’s estate. Furthermore, she threw shade on whether the physical assault actually happened and warned her ex-boyfriend that she’s on her way to Miami to resolve the situation.

“I don’t believe sh*t, it’s cameras all around that new state of the art house. Will pull up the cameras, they can’t get none of that money now. Ain’t nobody getting none of that motherf**king money n*gga,” Tia Kemp said.
