Janet Jackson plans to celebrate her 55th birthday on May 16 by helping children in need. The five-time Grammy winner and Queen of Pop will auction off more than 1,000 items from her personal collection and wardrobe, including her iconic sweater from the “Scream” video, her baseball cap from the “Rhythm Nation” video, and much more. The auction has started and will continue until tomorrow, May 16th. Jackson’s auction event will be held both online and in Beverly Hills at Julien’s Auctions.
Janet Jackson stated that a portion of the proceeds from the auction will benefit Compassion International. Compassion International is a global child-advocacy ministry that partners with churches around the world to release children from spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty.
