Janelle Monáe is set to be honored with the 2025 Vanguard Spotlight Award at the 27th Costume Designers Guild Awards (CDGA) on February 6, 2025. The live event will take place at The Ebell of Los Angeles.
The Vanguard Spotlight Award recognizes performing artists who push boundaries and inspire both audiences and industry professionals through their bold and visionary work. The award was first introduced in 2024, with Billie Eilish as the inaugural recipient.
