Jam Squad Recap: Roc Hard Vette & Classic Club Festival

On Saturday, June 8th the WDKX Jam Squad had a blast at the first annual Roc Hard Vette & Classic Club festival. The event was at Bulls-Head plaza on the city’s southwest side and saw many in the community come out to support. Companies like MVP Health, Rochester Regional, Kicks N Caps and many others held it down for the community by providing pamphlets, brochures, pens and other helpful treats.

The Rochester Corvette Club had a luxurious line up featuring an abundance of top down red, yellow, lime green and even purple Corvettes. You can tell the crew was excited to host the event by their friendly attitudes, they truly provided excellent hospitality and an unwillingness to let down the community.

The best part of the event had to be the amazing turnout from the community. The unique and exclusive crowd wasn’t lacking in any demographic. The crowd featured a great blend of old, young, black, white and everything in between. I personally enjoyed registering our community for the Roc Soul Music Festival ticket raffle as well as giving away free tickets to Lil Baby concert that just past.

We were overwhelmed with the positive vibes and love for WDKX. Whether reminiscing about the good old days or expressing interest in our upcoming events, we definitely felt the support and had a blast interacting with our audience.
