It’s the first day of schoooooooooooooooooool! What an exciting day it is! At least it was for me, today was the first time I’ve been at an elementary school on the first day since… well, since 2004 when I was in elementary school LOL! ??
Today the Jam Squad made a stop at Mary McLeod Bethune School #45 to wish all the students, parents, teachers and staff a great 2019-2020 school year! Principal Robert Snyder and all the teachers and staff were so energetic and helpful, guiding first time students to their classrooms and greeting returning students with smiles, high fives and hugs. They really wanted to make sure the students felt welcome and were excited about a brand new year of learning!
My favorite part was seeing the reactions of all the parents after they left their children with their teachers. Some were smiling, proud that their student was going to learn new things this year. Some were understandably sad or stressed about leaving their kids. Most however, were READY to get their kids out of the house! Either way, we all knew the kids were in good hands.
Congratulations on a new school year to Mary McLeod Bethune School #45!!!! We hope you guys have another great year, thanks for having us! ?
