Everybody love a good comeback story, and come back stories are always great with a comedic twist. That’s what makes the news about Mo’Nique coming back, must see TV!
One of the Queens of Comedy, Mo’Nique has a TV Stand Up Special that will air on Showtime. Mo’Nique & Friends: Live from Atlanta, will on the cable network February 7th. With Netflix, and her lack of support from people in the industry in her sure to be in her crosshairs.
Filmed in Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse the special will feature Donnell Rawlings from Chapelle’s Show and comedians Tone-X, Correy Bell and more.
Mo’Nique and Netflix, are currently involved in litigation. Mo’ Nique’s lawsuit is claiming gender and racial discrimination against Netflix. Claiming her offer was not even close to that of Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, and Amy Schumer.
