Issa Rae Movie “The Lovebirds” Heading to Netflix

The new Issa Rae movie “The Lovebirds” is heading to Netflix. The film which also stars Kumail Nanjiani, was originally set to be released on April 3rd. It was pulled. Along with every movie from every movie theater due to the growing concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.
According to IMDb, The Love Birds is described as a couple (Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani) experiencing a defining moment in their relationship when they are unintentionally embroiled in a murder mystery.
It’s great news that Paramount Pictures and Netflix worked out some sort of deal. To have this movie available on a streaming service, even though it won’t be seen in theaters is amazing. People need some new entertainment now more than ever. As of right now, Netflix has not announce the release date for The Lovebirds.
