Issa Rae is bringing the history of Black TV To HBO According to Shadow and Act, HBO is currently in production on Seen & Heard, an upcoming two-part HBO documentary “exploring the history of Black television as seen through the eyes of trailblazers who wrote, produced, created and starred in groundbreaking series of the past and present.” Issa Rae is the executive producer.
The documentary is produced and directed by documentarian Phil Bertelsen and exec produced by Rae and Montrel McKay of Issa Rae Productions, 3 Arts Entertainment’s Jonathan Berry and David Becky and Ark Media’s Rachel Dretzin and Esther Dere. Click Here To Read More.
