The Irondequoit Town Board has voted to censure Supervisor Andrae Evans, who faces sexual harassment allegations.
The resolution, passed Thursday night, aims to ensure a safe and respectful workplace for employees and restricts Evans’ interactions with staff during the Monroe County District Attorney’s investigation.
He will also be required to undergo management training and anti-sexual harassment courses.
While resident Monika Guernsey supports the censure, some attendees at the meeting believe Evans needs additional support.
