The Town of Irondequoit has announced the termination of its relationship with the law firm Brown Hutchinson as town attorney.
This decision follows allegations that the firm was excluded from an investigation related to town proceedings, leading to a special meeting scheduled for January 30.
Additionally, another law firm, Bond Schoeneck & King, raised concerns that the town board and special counsel may have acted unlawfully and violated due process.
It remains unclear if these issues are linked to the sexual harassment allegations against Irondequoit Town Supervisor Andrae Evans.
