Irondequoit Celebrates Community with Holiday Drop and Shop Event

Irondequoit came together for a free Drop and Shop event hosted by the Irondequoit Curb Alert and Gifting Group. Held at Irondequoit Square, the event encouraged residents to donate toys, clothes, diapers, household goods, and non-perishable food items. Attendees could then browse and take home donated items at no cost. Organizers emphasized the environmental and social impact, promoting reuse over waste and helping neighbors in need. Children also enjoyed a special visit from Santa and had the chance to take holiday photos. The event embodied community spirit and mutual support during the holiday season.
