Ireland Highest Court Rules Against Subway & Doesn’t Label Their Sub Rolls As Bread

The highest court in Ireland isn’t trying to let the fast food chain “Subway” break bread or save some dough.

According to reports the Ireland’s Supreme Court ruled against the giant fast food chain on getting a tax break.
The five-judge panel ruled against Subway because the ingredients in their sub rolls do not qualify to be labeled as bread because the sugar and flour content is five times higher then regular bread content.
According to a nutrition fact posted by Subway a 6 inch white bread roll has 5 grams of sugar similar to an Oreo cookie.
