Internet Speeds At The Greater Rochester International Airport Are Close To The Fastest In The nation Thanks To Greenlight

After teaming up with Greenlight Networks, the Greater Rochester International Airport has one of the fastest Wi-Fi network in the country.
Before the upgrade, travelers were only able to reach upload and download speeds of 5 Mbps, but now they have access to speeds of 500Mbps.
After launching the service last Thursday, Greenlight CEO Mark Murphy said:
“It was very important for us to say this is going to be one of the fastest, if not the fastest,” said Greenlight CEO Mark Murphy. “We didn’t want this to just be a run-of-the-mill type thing, because we are putting our brand on it.”
Monroe County Executive Adam Bello also gave a statement, saying:
“We are learning to grow accustomed to new ways of doing business, new ways of reaching people and connecting, and that’s not going to go anywhere. So we need to adapt and adjust to that, and be at the cutting edge of that technology — so we have that advantage when we come out (of the pandemic).”
