An insurance agency in Maine is facing backlash after a racist Junteeenth note was taped on the front window.
The note was a message for customers letting them know that the business was closed for business in observance of Juneteenth.
“Juneteenth ~it’s whatever… We’re closed. Enjoy your fried chicken & collard greens.”
The insurance company Harry E. Reed Insurance Agency lost it’s affiliation with national insurance carrier Progressive.
