Insecure Season Bye-ve

Welp… One of my favorite shows is coming to an end and I’m in my feels about it. Insecure has started filming it’s 5th and final season.

Co-Creator and star Issa Rae told Deadline they originally planned to go only five seasons of Insecure from the beginning. The HBO series starring Issa Rae, Yvonne Orji, Jay Ellis, Natasha Rothwell, and Amanda Seals will air later this year. The show debuted in 2016 on HBO.

Love, friendship, and life – the awkwardness that we all feel from time to time is okay and actually pretty normal. Just one of the many things Issa and cast taught us through the past five years.

It has been a beautiful yet awkward journey with Insecure and Issa’s character. She taught us it is okay to be YOU and embrace your uniqueness. Your choices don’t define you or your future but they will definitely teach you some good lessons. One of the dope things about the show I thought, is how it shows relationships of all types but especially when people grow apart. If you have never watched Insecure start now so you are all caught up when the final season kicks off.
