Hyundai & Kia Owners: Check Your Recalls

Do you own a Hyundai or Kia car? You may want to check the VIN number recall. Across the United States, nearly 485,000 vehicles are being recalled by the two Korean automakers over concerns of fire and engine problems. According to the companies recall, a contamination in the antilock brake control module can cause an electrical short.
Here are the cars that have been recalled:
- certain Kia Sportage SUVs from 2014 through 2016
- Kia K900 sedan from 2016 through 2018
- certain Hyundai Santa Fe SUVs from 2016 through 2018
- Hyundai Santa Fe Sports from 2017 and 2018
- Hyundai Santa Fe XL from 2019
- Hyundai Tucson SUVs from 2014 and 2015
If you are a Hyundai driver with a recalled car, dealers will replace a fuse and replace the control module if needed.
