Hurricane Dorian, a category 5 storm and the worst natural disaster to hit the Bahamian Islands to date. Dorian, which made landfall in late August, caused the deaths of dozens and completely obliterated homes and properties.

If this isn’t bad enough, try having nowhere to go for refuge. This was true for the nearly 150 Bahamian residents who were left stranded when U.S. Customs and Border Protection forced them off a rescue ferry headed for Florida.

Why were survivors of a category 5 natural disaster forced to stay in uninhabitable living conditions, you ask????? ….Paperwork. They were stranded simply because they didn’t have the correct documents.

The current administration justifies this by saying, “I don’t wanna allow people that weren’t supposed to be in the Bahamas to come into the United States, including some very bad people and some very bad gang members.” ………………WHAT!?!?!?!

This is so wrong on so many levels, I can’t even begin to tell you. What are your thoughts?
