House Speaker Nacy Pelosi Steps Down As Party Leader

Long time Democratic house speaker Nancy Pelosi just announced she’s stepping away from the leadership role with the party.

The long time congresswoman said she’s still going to represent her district in San Francisco.

Nancy Pelosi made the announcement right after Republicans officially won control in this year’s elections.
