Honoring The Legacy of Lenora Reid-Rose

Written by on February 20, 2025

Our hearts have been with Lenora’s family and all those she touched during her extraordinary life.  Throughout a remarkable career that spanned nearly four decades, Lenora was a fierce, strategic, and unwavering advocate for people living with mental health challenges and addiction – and their fundamental right to receive the care they need, within the context of their culture, to live their lives with respect, with hope, and with love.  She created an incredible body of work to educate, inspire, and support organizations across New York State in transforming our understanding, our practices and our policies to achieve her vision of equity for all – and most especially for those whose voices are often not heard.
