Gizelle Bryant Reacts to Karen Huger’s DUI Sentencing

Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant has expressed concern for co-star Karen Huger, who was sentenced on February 26 for a 2024 DUI incident. Huger, 61, received a two-year prison sentence, with one year suspended, along with five years of probation.

During her 21 Shady Questions Live event, Bryant reacted to the news, saying, “I am shook… Karen ain’t cut out for jail. I pray that she’s OK and that the Lord is with her.”
Huger was arrested in March 2024 after crashing into a street sign near her home while visibly intoxicated. She later enrolled in rehab in January 2025, missing the filming of RHOP’s season nine reunion. She has 30 days to appeal and 90 days to request a reconsideration of her sentence.
