‘GhostWriter’ set to skywrite over WNY cities

Pilot Nathan Hammond, known for his low-level skywriting performances, will be flying his modified deHaviland Chipmunk aircraft over several cities in Western New York, including Buffalo, Rochester, and Batavia. This skywriting event is scheduled ahead of the 2024 Wings over Batavia Air Show, set for Labor Day weekend. Hammond, who regularly performs skywriting across the country, will be making low passes over these cities, leaving his signature “GhostWriter” mark in the sky. Details on the exact timing and locations of the skywriting displays will be announced later this week.
