Rick Ross, the Grammy-nominated MC, will be the spotlight of Georgia State University College of Law’s upcoming course, “Legal Life Of…” this fall. Designed by Professor Mo Ivory, the course offers law students an immersive experience in entertainment law, focusing on Rick Ross’s career, contracts, and legal dealings.

Professor Ivory, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of hip-hop, shares her excitement about studying Rick Ross, emphasizing his transformation from a musician to a business magnate with extensive assets in real estate, food, literature, and more.

Ross expresses his enthusiasm to Billboard, “From being an avid learner, I’m excited to inspire the upcoming generation with my journey.”

Introduced in 2019 at Georgia State Law, previous editions of the “Legal Life Of…” course have spotlighted Ludacris, Kandi Burruss, and Steve Harvey.
