A Georgia assistant living facility Is under investigation After failing to notify residents and their family members About financial issues giving them a 3 day eviction notice.
According to reports the Tranquil Gardens assistant living center owed millions of dollars And the property was being foreclosed.
Residents were told on a Tuesday about the foreclosure and had to be out by that Friday leaving residents scrambling to find a place to stay.
Employees were also blindsided by the abrupt closer and set their work shirts on fire in the parking lot.
Management blames the shutdown on Covid-19 and a investigation is being done to see if any civil or criminal action can be done.
