Yesterday, the George Eastman Museum announced that it would reopen, but only at 25% to keep its guests safe.

Strict social distancing guidelines will be in place: all visitors and employees are required to wear masks at all times inside the museum and must keep at least 6 feet apart to maintain social distancing.

Employees and staff will be cleaning and sanitizing frequently, according to director of marketing Eliza Kozlowski.

Only 150 guests will be allowed in at one time and the museum has installed hand sanitizing stations through the museum. Other measures include doors being propped open and directional stickers.

New museum hours are from Wednesday – Saturday, 10 a.m to 5 p.m. Sunday hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
