GE Recalls French Door Model Refrigerators

There is a recall on GE refrigerators with the French doors. The recall is on six models of the GE-brand Free-Standing French Door Refrigerators. The models have the bottom freezer drawer have the issue of the handle falling of causing falls and injuries to consumers.
GE issued the recall on the fingerprint resistant stainless steel models manufactured February 2020 through August 2021.
3 serious injuries out of 37 total injuries reported. If you have purchased one of the recalled models you should contact GE Appliances. The recall is voluntary by GE Appliances.
