Gas Prices Are Going Up And Down

Gas prices in Rochester are going up and down at the same time. The national average gas price according to AAA is $3.54 per gallon and the average price in Rochester is $3.72 per gallon.

AAA says the national price for oil continues to be low which is why the gas price nationally has not risen during one of the busiest travel seasons. The gas prices in Rochester are also higher than in Buffalo and Syracuse. New York State’s average gas price is $3.69 which is still lower than Rochester.

You can find better prices for gas locally however you will have to look around. In some places, you may find gas prices at $3.24 per gallon while other places are as high as $3.85 per gallon.
