Gabrielle Union Pens Deal With Showtime To Produce ‘New Money’

Gabrielle Union has just announced a new production project she’s working on for Showtime called “New Money.”
The comedy series will be produced by her company: I’ll Have Another, as well as Lodge Freeway Media’s Jemele Hill and Kelly Carter.
According to the synopsis provided by TheWrap:
“New Money” focuses on the “Black women who have solidified their careers, achieved financial independence and moved past the awkwardness and money struggles of their twenties, must deal with the repercussions their ‘new money’ brings – including hangers-on, false friends, unwanted media attention, and greedy relatives – while also navigating the treacherous world of dating.”
The script will be written by Patrik-Ian Polk who will also be co producing the comedy.
