Free Soccer Clinics In The City of Rochester

The City of Rochester’s Department of Recreation and Youth Services, in partnership with Rochester City Soccer, will host a series of soccer clinics at the Tyshaun Cauldwell R-Center for Hope, 524 Campbell St., for youth who are high school age and younger.  The clinics will take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning November 10 through December 17.

The soccer clinics are designed to provide youth ages 5 and up with training in a variety of skills, including dribbling, fast footwork, 1-on-1 moves, passing and receiving. Participants will also learn the importance of sportsmanship, leadership, training, teamwork, communication, confidence, hard work and responsibility.

Clinics will be arranged by age groups and will take place at the following times:

Tuesdays        6 – 7 p.m.      Ages 11 – 13
7 – 8 p.m.      Ages 14 – 16 and 17 – 19

Thursdays       6 – 7 p.m.      Ages 5 – 7
7 – 8 p.m.      Ages 8 – 10

All of the soccer clinics are free and open to the public for both boys and girls. No experience is necessary in order to take part.
