Free Backpack Giveaway Today (08/05) 4pm-6pm

Multiple McDonald’s locations in the Rochester region will give out backpacks filled with school supplies on Wednesday to help students get ready for the upcoming school year. This marks the second year of The Golden Arches Pack Giveback Program, and it comes as the National Retail Federation warns about rising back-to-school shopping costs. Families can stop by participating locations from 4 to 6 p.m. to get a free backpack while supplies last. The student must be on site to receive the backpack. Restaurants in the Buffalo, Syracuse, and Albany regions are also participating. You can see the full list here. Here’s the list for Rochester and the Finger Lakes:
