Wedding, 43, competed in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, finishing 24th in the Giant Slalom event.
Authorities say he later built a criminal empire, trafficking hundreds of kilograms of cocaine from Colombia, through Mexico, the U.S., and Canada.
The FBI and the U.S. State Department are offering a $10 million reward for information leading to his arrest.

Wedding and his “second-in-command,” Andrew Clark, 34, were indicted in June 2024 on charges including murder, drug trafficking, and running a criminal enterprise. A September 2024 superseding indictment added an attempted murder charge against them. The FBI alleges that Wedding and Clark orchestrated multiple murders to protect their operation.

Clark was arrested in October 2024 in Mexico and was extradited to the U.S. last week.
Wedding remains at large, with investigators believing he is hiding in Mexico but possibly moving through the U.S., Canada, or Central America.
“Wedding went from shredding powder on the slopes to distributing powder cocaine on the streets,” said FBI Assistant Director Akil Davis. The agency is urging the public to provide tips to help capture him before he causes further harm.
