Former Middle School Opens Free Store with Help From Gunna

Rapper Gunna and Atlanta-based nonprofit Goodr have joined forces several times, but this time the pair’s joint effort will help serve over 900 students and teachers. Gunna’s former middle school in College Park, Georgia, Ronald E. McNair, is now a free store to give back to his community. This free store named Gunna’s Drip Closet and Goodr Grocery Store brings an array of items, from food to clothing, toiletries, and household supplies, and is free to all of the school’s families.
Gunna stated: “Millions of kids depend on the free breakfast and lunch they’re provided at school, but then they go home, and oftentimes they don’t have access to the same thing as they’re getting in school, until now.”
