Former Irondequoit Mall Getting a New Purpose

Written by on August 6, 2020

Can anyone remember when the Irondequoit mall–was actually an operating mall? Seems like a million years ago. Apparently the mall will now be home to senior living housing and a community center. Supposedly 160 affordable senior living apartments will be built in the old Sears and Seely spaces.  Citizens Bank announced this week that they will be contributing a 22.4 million line of credit to the project. The project leader, PathStone, also announced a new partnership with the Rochester Regional Health system that will be proving medical services to residents.
