Ford Recalls Over 850,000 Vehicles Due to Fuel Pump Risk

Written by on July 13, 2025

Ford Motor Company has issued a recall affecting more than 850,000 vehicles across the U.S. due to a defect in the low-pressure fuel pump that could cause engines to stall mid-drive, heightening the risk of crashes. The recall spans a range of 2021–2023 Ford and Lincoln models, including popular vehicles like the Bronco, F-150, and Navigator. While no accidents or injuries have been reported, Ford warns the issue is more likely in warmer weather or with low fuel levels. Affected owners will receive notifications starting July 14, though a repair fix is still in development.
